Breed
If the walls could talk, Breed would be a fascinating radio play. This art and crafts platform covers two buildings that are protected by a glass façade, preserving a unique pieceof Genk history. It is the house where fashion icon Martin Margiela was born, and home to ‘Betty’s discobar’, the record store where the (sales) success story of Rocco – ‘Marina’ – Granata once began. Today, Breed offers studio space to young talents and for exhibitions. From jewellery designer Lore Segers to interior items from Studio Van Campenhout. The common thread? Everything is handcrafted, unique, trendy and for sale.
