Labyrint – Gijs Van Varenbergh

Lose your way in the steel corridors of the C-mine labyrinth. Art and architecture duo Pieterjan Gijs and Arnout Van Vaerenbergh installed this experimental labyrinth for the tenth anniversary of the C-mine site in 2015. The 1,400 m2 sculptural construction refers to industrial mining history and surprises with geometrical cut-outs, perspectives and open spaces. A wonderful experience installation that completely immerses you for a while. From the 65-metre shaft, which you can enter via C-mine expedition, it looks even more impressive.
