Anneleen Swillen (°1992, Be) holds a master’s degree in Object and Jewellery design (PXL-MAD School of Arts, Hasselt, Be) and a postgraduate in Curatorial Studies (Kask School of Arts, Ghent, Be). Currently she is working on a PhD research in the Arts into presentation within contemporary art jewellery practice (Hasselt University and PXL-MAD School of Arts, Hasselt, Be). Through her artistic practice, which consists of the creation of jewellery, objects and (moving) images, as well as organising projects and group conversations, she explores topics and interactions related to the creation, presentation and perception of contemporary art jewellery.
