Benjamin Sporken

Benjamin Sporken graduated as a Master of Arts, specializing in Graphic Design at the Media, Arts & Design (MAD) Faculty Hasselt. He then moved to Rotterdam, where he works as a freelance designer and co-founder of the type foundry “ONMIN” together with Wout Trippas. His own multidisciplinary practice focuses on (the mutual dialogues between) publications, contemporary type design, digital media and spatial design. For Toegepast 21, Benjamin developed a modular framework that consisted of aluminum joints and wooden compartments, which were individually adjustable to the specific needs of each participant.
