Charlotte Vandenborre
designer
Textile designer Charlotte Vandenborre intertwines her photographic impressions of vagabonds in nondescript places, back alleys, station buildings, and the seamy of existence, in textile installations. She uses the same materials that vagabonds wrap their lives in: plastic, cardboard, blankets, or old sleeping bags, to braid a crumbled image of tearing. Her poetic fabric offers food for thought. Charlotte is a laureate of Toegepast 20.
