The Italian artist Giacomo Piovan studied industrial design at the Politecnico Milano (Italy) and the Design Academy Eindhoven. With his graduation project ‘Farming the pollution’, a system to control soil pollution, he was selected for Toegepast 18 in 2013. Together with PSMT bvba and other professional organisations, he is currently investigating sustainable ways to clean up polluted environments.
