Jeff Rutten studied interior design and furniture design (VOMO) at Thomas More in Mechelen. He designs and produces functional furniture with great sculptural value. In addition to his own label “JEFF RUTTEN OBJECTS”, he is also co-founder and manager of b-ALLROOM, which lends its own developed furniture and removals for festivals, events and companies. Jeff was laureate of Applied 9.

In 2026 he wins bronze in the Habitat category at the Henry van de Velde Awards with Pook, a steel outdoor grill. A logical extension of an oeuvre until then largely defined by garden tables, made out of his studio in Tessenderlo.
