Jo Klaps

Jo Klaps teaches at the UHasselt – Faculty of Architecture and Art. He graduated as an interior architect in 1985, but the projects he engaged in afterwards were very diverse. Two years later, Jo was self-employed, working on projects as an exhibition scenographer and graphic designer. He was one of the pioneers of Het Labo, a collective of designers exploring the boundaries of art and design. The complement changes regularly, but remains at an average of ten members.
