In 2004, Karen Wuytens completed a Masters in Jewellery Design & Silversmithing at the PHL. Since 2005, she has been sharing her knowledge of jewellery design, teaching at several educational institutes throughout Belgium, and also obtained her PhD in the various design processes of designers. In the context of the design studio Kuppers & Wuytens she has worked together with Jan Kuppers designing their own products; but besides that, they have also provided exclusive designs, custom-made for their clients. She is a laureate of Toegepast 10.
