Linde Hermans runs a design studio in Houthalen. She works on various assignments, for both companies and organisations: from jewellery, crockery and handbags, furniture and public space installations to exhibition scenography. She received the Henry van de Velde Award for Young Talent in 2008. At present, she designs for leading craft companies such as Studio Pieter Stockmans and shoe manufacturer Ambiorix. In her work, Linde regularly refers to recognisable symbols and stories and mainly uses a highly refined formal language reflecting timelessness and quality.
