Toegepast Lucas Vanlessen teaches at the Media & Design Academy for the course in Product Design, mainly organising and supervising basic design exercises about Nature, tools and primary products. Together with Luk van der Hallen, he was co-organiser of 21 IDEM (International Design Educational Meeting) workshops in and outside Europe, and in May 2010 he joined the organisational team of the International Cumulus Conference in Genk. Lucas is also involved in the design collective Het Labo. He was the Coordinator of Toegepast 4.
