Ruben Castro

Ruben Castro graduated in 2014 from the University of Leuven in Gent with a cum laude degree in architecture. He then went to work for Christian Kerez’s firm of architects in Switzerland and was artist-in-residence at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. He was laureate of Toegepast 20 and selected as finalist for a prize for young architects by the Flemish Government Architect. He has exhibited in Belgium at Z33, Hasselt, FoMu, Antwerp, DeSingel, Antwerp, C-Mine, Genk, in the Netherlands in Bureau Europe, Maastricht, Schunk *, Heerlen and Korea at Goyang Aram Nuri Arts Center, Seoul. He is also part of the collective design duo Lee Castro who recently showed work at De Brakke Grond and P/////AKT in Amsterdam.
