Stan Maes is a multi-award- winning product designer. After several assignments throughout Europe, he worked for the Austrian company Kiska for ten years. This was followed by a position as lecturer at MAD-faculty in Genk. Since 2010, Maes is working as a freelance product designer. “Creating outstanding products; together” is his motto. With an initial strategic approach and a customized design process, as well start-ups as multinationals can be served. Lately also his own designs in interior objects and lighting find their way to the market. A well balanced equilibrium between technology and design very often is the starting point.
