Steven Brouns


Steven Brouns graduated as an industrial designer from the KHLim in 1999. In 2000, using the pseudonym JZUZ, he designed, together with Serge Haelterman, modular furniture pieces made from foam that were called Living Element. In 2002 he founded design studio Zoink!. Brouns designs products in, among other materials, foam rubber (lounge furniture, e.g.) for big brand names looking for unique and often high-tech seating furniture. In 2005 he received the Henry van de Velde Young Talent Award.
