Ann Bessemans has been teaching graphic design, typography and type design at the PXL-MAD School of Arts since 2006. In 2012, she defended her PhD dissertation entitled Type Design for Children with Low Vision. For this project she was twice granted a scholarship by Microsoft ClearType & Avanced Reading Technologies USA.
