Are you a designer or architect who graduated no longer than four years ago? Are you ready to leap off the top springboard to a professional, creative career? Then FORMAT is the programme for you!

FORMAT is the new mentoring and guidance programme of Z33 – House for Contemporary Art – for architects and designers from various disciplines (graphic design, social design, jewellery design, interior design, fashion etc.) who live, work or study in Flanders or the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion(Eindhoven, Maastricht, Luik, Aken, Eupen, …). For one whole year, you will be given the opportunity to create new work while being supported by professionals and a self-selected coach. You and your fellow laureates will then get to exhibit your work during an exhibition at Z33’s new building.

FORMAT laureates will have access to Z33’s expertise and international network. Every laureate will also receive a production budget of no less than €5,000. For those selected, FORMAT is an instant recognition of their talent!

FORMAT is the continuation of Toegepast, which ran for an impressive 21 editions as part of Cultuurplatform Design.
