Last monday the British Fashion Council handed off the coveted award of Designer of the Year to designer Raf Simons. He was honored for his renowned work with Calvin Klein and his influence in the fashion industry. Simons will have his title a whole year, following JW Anderson as designer of the year last year. This award comes only one month after receiving the same accolade at the Belgian Fashion Awards.
