Wim Vanlessen – nation’s most famous ballet dancer – has been active in classical, neo-classical and contemporary ballet plays for 25 years. The 42-year-old Vanlessen announced, after 25 years of being the principal dancer at Ballet Vlaanderen, his farewell and will end in beauty on November 10 in the Antwerp opera with the performance of Giselle and on February 2 with the Boléro by the well-known choreographer Maurice Béjart.
